Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReRead platform operated by ReRead Technologies Pvt Ltd ("ReRead", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Use ReRead

ReRead is available to anyone aged 13 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to use this service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Listings & Transactions

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Books must be described honestly — condition, edition, included materials. ReRead is a marketplace and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not own, sell, or ship books.

3. Prohibited Items

You may not list: counterfeit or pirated books, items other than books and study materials, items that are illegal to sell, books that infringe on intellectual property rights. Violations result in immediate account suspension.

4. Payments & Fees

ReRead collects payment on behalf of sellers and holds it in escrow until delivery is confirmed. We charge a platform fee of [X]% per completed transaction. Fees are clearly displayed at checkout. All payments are processed by our payment partners (Razorpay).

5. Refunds & Disputes

Buyers may raise a dispute within 48 hours of receiving a book if it does not match the listing. ReRead will review evidence from both parties and make a binding decision. See our Return Policy for full details.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms other users. You may also delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

7. Intellectual Property

The ReRead platform, logo, and content are owned by ReRead Technologies Pvt Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of our platform without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

ReRead is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, inaccurate listings, delivery issues, or platform downtime. Our maximum liability to you is the amount of platform fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
