There are hundreds of NEET prep books on the market. Most NEET toppers use a focused selection of 8–12 books and know them deeply — not 40 books covered superficially.

Physics
**H.C. Verma — Concepts of Physics (Vol 1 & 2)** The gold standard for theory and problem-solving. MRP ₹650 each; fair second-hand price: ₹200–280.
**D.C. Pandey — Objective Physics** For MCQ practice. MRP ₹800; fair second-hand price: ₹250–350.
Chemistry
**NCERT Chemistry (Class 11 & 12)** Non-negotiable. MRP ₹120 each; fair second-hand: ₹60–80.
**O.P. Tandon — Physical Chemistry** For deep problem-solving. MRP ₹900; fair second-hand: ₹280–380.
Biology
**NCERT Biology (Class 11 & 12)** 40% of NEET is straight from NCERT Biology. Non-negotiable. Second-hand: ₹60–80.
**Trueman's Biology (Vol 1 & 2)** The most used supplementary biology book for NEET. MRP ₹700 each; second-hand: ₹220–320.
